Getting help

Most things are answered in the documentation, and it's faster than waiting for me. If it isn't there, write.

Email

support@screenshotinbox.com

One person reads this, from India, so replies come on Indian Standard Time — usually within a working day. There's no ticket system and no chat widget, partly because a chat widget would mean loading a third party's script onto a site that promises not to.

What to include

Three lines here saves us both a round trip:

  • Your Screenshot Inbox version (Settings → License & Updates, currently 1.0.0)
  • Your macOS version and whether the Mac is Apple silicon or Intel
  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead

If it's about a specific screenshot, don't send me the screenshot — describe it. I'd rather not receive your client's dashboard, and you shouldn't have to think about whether it's safe to send.

Lost your licence key?

Look it up here using the email address you bought with, and it'll be sent again.

Feature requests

Genuinely welcome, and I read all of them. Before writing, it's worth checking what I've decided not to build — if it's on that list the answer is a considered no rather than a maybe, and I'd rather you knew that than waited.
