Acknowledgements

Two open-source libraries ship inside Screenshot Inbox. Both are permissively licensed, and both licences require their copyright notice to travel with the software — this page is where it travels. The texts below are copied from the exact versions that are compiled into the application, not retyped from memory.

Everything else in the application is Apple's own frameworks — including Vision, which does the text recognition — or code written by Udaan Technologies Pvt. Ltd.. There is no third library, and the commit gate rejects one without human approval.

SQLite

The index is stored in SQLite, which Apple ships as part of macOS and which its authors have placed in the public domain. Screenshot Inbox uses the system copy and bundles none of its own.

This website

The site is set in Geist and Geist Mono, which are served from this domain — the files sit alongside the pages and are requested from the same place. That distinction is the whole point: a webfont normally means a request to a font host on every first visit, and the claim this site makes on Verify it yourself is that it sends you nowhere else. The content security policy enforces it rather than trusting it, so a stylesheet pointing at a font CDN would be refused by your browser instead of quietly working.

Beyond the typefaces there are no icon packs, no analytics and no third-party scripts of any kind.
